Body Found In Mississippi River Near Darrow

GONZALES, La. (AP) — Ascension Parish Sheriff's deputies say a body has been recovered from the Mississippi River.
WAFB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/J8Fjq1 ) the body was found near Carline Fleet in Darrow about 7 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies say they received reports of a body floating down river and when they investigated, found the victim — a white male.
The victim has not been identified.
