Body Of Basile Man Found In Ditch

Police are investigating the death of a man who's body was found in a ditch.

Police in Acadia Parish say they found the body yesterday morning off the Basile Eunice Highway near Basile.

The body of the 58-year-old man has been taken to the Calcasieu Parish Cornoer's Office to undergo an autopsy.

Foul play is not suspected, and the man's identity is being withheld until his family can be notified.
