Body Of Baton Rouge Man Found In Lake Maurepas

MANCHAC, La. (AP) — Search crews have found the body of a 26-year-old Baton Rouge man missing in Lake Maurepas since Saturday.

Agents with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries tells WAFB TV Taylor Russell's body was recovered around 7:30 a.m. Monday

Adam Einck, spokesman for the agency, said Russell jumped off a boat and never resurfaced around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
