Bomb Threat At Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport
After the LSU campus was evacuated Monday morning because of a phoned-in bomb threat, people at the Capitol City's airport are being evacuated as well.
Kevin Gallagher with our news partners at Louisiana Radio Network says the threat came in around 4:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon. According to Gallagher, airport managers say they were told a vehicle in the parking garage had a bomb inside. The parking garage in the terminal was evacuated as a precaution.
Gallagher says that people are being told through social media not to return to the terminal.
Airport officials, with the help of other law official agencies, continue to investigate.
