BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A 26-year-old man has been booked with first-degree murder of a 53-year-old who died after a holdup, apparently from a heart attack, Baton Rouge police say.

Brian Wright of Baton Rouge was booked Saturday with murder of Terrance Booker, also of Baton Rouge, who died at a hospital Saturday afternoon, Police spokesman Cpl. L'Jean McKneely Jr. said in a news release.

"It is believed that Booker may have had a heart attack during the robbery," McKneely wrote.

McKneely said Wright also was booked with damaging property because he allegedly flooded the entire holding cell area by damaging a toilet.

Two accomplices ran away and apparently remained at large Sunday, but Wright was arrested after his car crashed a few blocks from the holdup spot, McKneely said.

Police asked anyone with information about the case to call the Violent Crimes Unit at 225-389-4869 or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
