BOSSIER CITY, La. (AP) — Police say a 17-year-old student at Parkway High School has been arrested after school officials found a posting on Facebook describing violent threats to the high school.

Bossier Parish sheriff's deputies say the teen was arrested Tuesday on a charge of terrorizing after posting a detailed sketch and information of planned acts of violence at the school that would take place at Parkway High School at a later date.

Capt. Danny Dison, director of security for the Bossier Parish School System, said there is no imminent threat to the school.

Deputies say the teen was taken to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility for booking, with his bond set at $10,000.
