Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Charles W. Boustany, Jr., (R-Southwest Louisiana), today announced summer intern positions available in his Washington, DC office for motivated college students or recent graduates.
“Internships provide an opportunity for young people to learn about our government and the political process from the inside,” Boustany said. “Many of Louisiana’s best and brightest have worked for me for a summer or semester in our nation’s Capitol, and I greatly appreciate their efforts.”
Preference for these internships will be given to college seniors and recent graduates. Interns conduct a variety of tasks including conducting legislative research, attending Congressional hearings, assisting with p
ress relations and interacting with constituents.
Interested students and recent graduates should submit a resume and cover letter explaining why they are interested in working in Congressman Boustany’s office before February 18, 2011 to Jeff Dobrozsi at email@example.com or fax to (202) 225-5724.
