Congressman Charles Boustany met today in Washington, D.C., with James Watson, Director of the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement. He says he expressed his "concerns about the continuing need to focus on the safety of all offshore workers off the coast of South Louisiana."

Boustany went on to say "we had a productive discussion on important issues including the SEMS 1 and SEMS 2 safety initiatives, the Mr. Charlie training rig in Morgan City, and the Idle Iron Policy. I look forward to having future meetings with the Director and his staff to continue to protect workers in South Louisiana.”
