The Gulf Coast Seafood and Tourism Bash starts next week, which will coincide with the Sugar bowl and the BCS Championship. All of this can be attributed to BP. BP communication director Curtis Thomas says the world will be watching both of these bowl games and it is the perfect chance to tell everyone that the seafood from the gulf is safe to eat and the gulf is a great place to visit.

Thomas says BP vowed to do what it could to make  things right after the 2010 oil spill, and this is just one way to do it.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl is scheduled for January 3rd with the Michigan Wolverines taking on the Virginia Tech Hokies. Then, the Allstate BCS National Championship Bowl is scheduled for the 9th and will feature the LSU Tigers facing off against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

BP, the energy giant, has 79,700 employees and $272.2 billion in assets world wide.
