BP Wants Most Court Claims Dismissed

A federal judge is being asked by BP PLC to dismiss most of the court claims filed against the oil giant by individuals and businesses who claim they suffered economic losses from last year's oil spill. BP claims losses by workers and property owners should be dismissed because they are pre-empted by the Oil Pollution Act of 1990.
