Jaci Russo joined Bernie and Rob on 'Acadiana's Morning News' to discuss why it's important for businesses and brands to annually update their logos and how they do business.

Jaci compared approaching your business or brand's appearance and operations like your home during spring time:

Sometimes you need to do a 'spring cleaning of your brand.' Your most important asset, you logo, might be outdated. Ask yourself 'is it time to referesh, update?'If you haven’t updated your logo , site, or brochure in a few years, it’s time to refresh it.

Jaci also stressed that while the logo is important, it isn't the only important aspect of a brand:

Not just logos, that’s the biggest, but everything. Your sign out front, how phones are answered, how sales are processed. This is the perfect time of year to do it. Take stock of the year, look around, from an outsider’s perspective. Do we use too much industry lingo? Do other people understand what we’re saying? You need to make sure your site is mobile friendly, search engine optimized. You have one month left, business has slowed down if you’re not in retail. Now is the perfect time to take stock.'
