Breaking: Police Investigating After Iberia Parish Student Was Stabbed

Wendell Rayborn with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office has confirmed two female students student at Loreauville high school were involved in a violent fight this morning on campus. During that altercation one of the students was apparently cut.

Iberia Parish Superintendent Dale Henderson tells our news partners at KATC that a total of four students were fighting in the cafeteria when one of those students was cut over the eye.

The altercation resulted after an argument began on social media last night.

The names of the students aren't being release at this time.
