Breaux Beats Babineaux For Judge’s Seat

There is a new person who will be a judge in the 15th Judicial District Court in Division E.

Two candidates faced each other in Saturday's runoff election.

Michelle Meaux Breaux garnered just over 57 percent of the vote to when the job.

Mark Allen Babineaux is still a member of the Lafayette Parish School Board for a few more weeks.
