Breaux Bridge Couple Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

33 year old Brandon Scrantz and 22 year old Jodi Lasseigne of Breaux Bridge are arrested and charged with multiple drug charges. A search warrant was issued for a home in the 1700 block of Grand Anse Highway after a tip was received noting possible drug activity in the area. Different drugs and packaging materials to distribute illegal drugs were discovered.

Scratnz was charged with various drug counts, possession of transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses, possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of illegal carrying of weapons.

Lasseigne was charged with 1 count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both Scrantz and Lasseigne were booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
