Breaux Bridge Man Accused Of Stealing Tractor While Police Look For Two Other Suspects

63-year-old John Wright of Breaux Bridge is behind bars and 24-year-old James Wright of Youngsville and 25-year-old Kerry Doucet III are on the loose after a tractor was allegedly stolen on April 12 and several other home burglaries in the Breaux Bridge area.

Major Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office says John Wright was arrested in the tractor theft, and charged with one count of Theft (over $1,500.00), while James Wright and Doucet are wanted in connection with that case and the other burglaries. The tractor has since been recovered by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office. James Wright is wanted on one count of Possession of Stolen Property, and Kerry Doucet III, is wanted on one count of Theft (over $1,500.00).
