Breaux Bridge Man Arrested For Non-Compliance

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office says they were investigating a man in reference to being a non-compliant sex offender.

Sheriff's officials were able to locate 30-year-old Larry Batiste of Breaux Bridge Wednesday.  Major Ginny Higgins says Batiste was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on a charge of 'Duty of Offender to Notify Law Enforcement of Change of Address'.

She says his bond has been set at $10,000.
