A Breaux Bridge man has been indicted on a second-degree murder charge for the April 2016 shooting death of Aaron Carmouche.

According to our news partner, KATC, a grand jury indicted 27-year-old Cord Paul Anderson who is accused of shooting Carmouche while the two were in a vehicle together in Lafayette.

If convicted, Anderson faces a mandatory life sentence with no chance of probation, parole of suspension of sentence.
