Beginning Wednesday, February 18, La. 89 will be closed as crews begin a $2.5 million project to replace the Bayou Parc Perdu and Creek Bridges.

The first bridge to be replaced will be the bridge location near Janine Drive. DOTD officials estimate that project will be completed in summer 2015. After that project is done, work will be done to replace the bridge location over Bayou Parc Perdu. DOTD officials estimate this project will be completed in early 2016.

This detour will be made available: La. 88, U.S. 90 and La. 14.
