BROUSSARD, La. (KPEL) -- Sheriff's deputies arrested a Broussard man Monday after finding child pornography at his home.

Capt. Kip Judice with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office said deputies executed a search warrant on the Janin Road home of 33-year-old Joshua Villa.

During the search, deputies with the sheriff's office and officers with the state Department of Justice High Tech Crime unit found the images, Judice said. Those images depicted children under the age of 13 being sexually exploited, Judice said.

"Some of the pornographic images were confirmed to be a relative of Villa," Judice said.

Villa was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on 20 counts of possessing child pornography, nine counts of distribution, six counts of producing child pornography, and one count of aggravated incest.

No bond had been set.
