Burglary Suspect Already In Jail – On Burglary Charges

A man accused of burglarizing multiple vehicles in St. Martin Parish, is already behind bars in Lafayette, on burglary charges. Major Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office says surveillance videos caught the man, later identified by Breaux Bridge Police as Hayven De'von Auguillard, breaking into the vehicles on June 16. She says they then learned that Auguillard was already in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center since July 1, accused of other burglaries within that Parish. Major Higgins say Auguillard has been uncooperative in helping them recover the stolen property.
