Burglary Suspect Arrested In St. Martin Parish

St. Martin Parish Sheriff's officials have reported the arrest of a Breaux Bridge man who was on the lam for nearly a week.

According to St. Martin Parish Sheriff's spokesperson Ginny Higgins, civil warrant deputies arrested Daniel Carmouche, 24, of Breaux Bridge this morning. Carmouche has been wanted since last Wednesday for failure to appear in court on two charges of simple burglary.

Deputies booked him into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
