Burn Ban Begins Tomorrow

A statewide ban on outdoor burning will take effect tomorrow morning.Citing dry conditions throughout the state, State Fire Marshal H. Butch Browning and Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain have issued a cease and desist order beginning June 1 on all private outdoor burning. Only local governments and fire departments can grant permission for private burning.
