A convention of people that are owners of restaurant franchises got together in Washington and the news was not good.  Dave Barr, a KFC Franchise Owner, has run the numbers for his business and the ramifications of federal regulations and the passage of Obamacare are clear.  Barr showed the gathering how the healthcare legislation would cut his annual profits in half.

In the story from the Washington Examiner, Barr indicated that things would lead to downsizing in his and many businesses just simply because they can't afford the premiums that need to be paid for a full-time workforce.  That would mean more people working part-time or not at all.
