Busy Lafayette Roads To Be Closed Monday Morning For LPD Crash Investigations
Some major Lafayette roadways will be closed Monday morning as Lafayette Police traffic officers reconstruct major crash scenes at two different locations.
First, beginning at 8:15 a.m., sections of NW Evangeline Thruway at the intersection of Mudd Avenue will be closed by officers. This is expected to last for about an hour.
Next, beginning at 9:15 a.m., sections of Ambassador Caffery Parkway in the 5000 Block, between Frem Boustany Drive and Verot School Road, will be closed by officers. This is expected to last two hours.
Police ask drivers to use alternate routes during these times.
