Butte La Rose Fishing Rodeo & Jambalaya Cook Off Saturday

The Butte La Rose Volunteer Fire Dept and Community Committee will hold their first ever Fishing Rodeo and Jambalaya Cook Off this Saturday, June 14, at the Volunteer Fire Station at Henderson Lake.

Fishing rodeo registration starts at 5:30am, and Jambalaya cook off registration starts at 6:30am.

The entry fee is $25, and fishing begins at daylight, with weigh in at 2:30, and winners being announced at 3:30. A jambalaya cook off will also begin at 7:30 am, with turn in at 11:45, and winners announced at 12:45. The jambalaya all you can eat bowl is only $5.  A local dj will play, and Dustin Ray will take the stage at 1:30.
