McNapsy Field on the UL Lafayette Campus will be the setting today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Cajun Camp event.  This event is open to members of the community who have a mental or physical disability.

The Cajun Camp Day at UL Lafayette is free of charge, and it's for family and friends of individuals with special needs.  In addition, anyone in the community who is interested can join the activities that are held across from Girard Park.    Participants will be able to have fun with the animals at the petting zoo, face-painting, a science show and plenty of arts and crafts.

UL Lafayette’s Pre-Professional Society is hosting the event and there is a free lunch that will be served.  T-shirts will be given out.  There will be dance competitions, games, a train ride and more.
