Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Thursday evening, when coach Bob Marlin's squad travels to Mobile, Alabama, to take on the South Alabama Jaguars in Sun Belt Conference action.

Louisiana defeated ULM, 90-66, on Sunday, to improve to 9-16 overall, and 5-9 in Sun Belt Conference play, while South Alabama has won three straight, and six of their last seven games, and are currently 14-9 overall, and 11-4 in league play.

The Cajuns are led by freshman center Shawn Long, who is averaging 15.8 points, to go along with 10.5 rebounds-per-game, while the Jaguars are paced by junior Augustine Rubit, who is averaging 19.0 points, and 10.6 rebounds a contest.

Louisiana leads the all-time series, 24-22, but South Alabama captured the earlier meeting this year, winning 91-89, in double overtime, back on January 10 at the Cajundome.

Tip-off time is set for 7:05 pm.

You can hear all the play-by-play action on Sports Radio ESPN 1420, and espn1420.com, beginning with the pre-game show at 6:35 pm.
