Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun football team returns to the gridiron on Saturday afternoon, when coach Mark Hudspeth’s squad plays host to the Troy Trojans in a Sun Belt Conference contest.

The game will serve as the 2015 regular season finale for both teams.

The Cajun Harley Davidson Tailgate show begins at 2 pm on ESPN 1420 and espn1420.com, with the rest of the network, including Hot 107.9 and 1079ishot.com, joining the broadcast in time for the Hampton Toyota Pregame Show, which will begin at 3 o'clock.

Kickoff time at Cajun Field is set for 4 pm.

Louisiana, who has lost three-straight, fell to Appalachian St. last Saturday, 28-7, and is currently 4-7, overall, and 3-4 in Sun Belt Conference play.

Offensively, the Cajuns are averaging 27.3 points-per-game, along with 386.8 total yards, 178.2 rushing yards, and 208.6 passing yards, while allowing 31.0 points, 418.4 total yards, 188.8 rushing yards, and 229.6 passing yards.

Louisiana is led by junior running back Elijah McGuire, who has compiled 972 yards, along with 12 touchdowns, on 195 carries.

Troy, who fell to Georgia St. last week, 31-21, will head into the match-up at 3-8, overall, and 2-5 in league play.

Offensively, the Trojans are averaging 26.7 points, along with 351.9 total yards, 118.3 rushing yards, and 233.6 passing yards a contest, while allowing 29.3 points, 398.6 total yards, 199.4 passing yards, and 199.3 rushing yards.

Troy is paced by senior running back Brandon Burks, who has rushed for 887 yards and 7 touchdowns.

The Cajuns defeated the Trojans last season, winning 42-23 in Troy, Alabama.
