Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun football team closed out their 2012 regular season schedule schedule on Saturday, capturing a 35-21 win over the FAU Owls, in Boca Raton, Florida.

Louisiana led at the half, 21-14, and then outscored FAU, 14-7, in the second half, to bring home the 14-point win.

The Owls out-gained the Cajuns, in terms of total yards, 528-452, but Louisiana forced three FAU turnovers, including two interceptions, and one fumble.

Quarterback Terrance Broadway led the way for the Cajuns, passing for 168 yards, and rushing for another 123 yards, while quarterback Graham Wilbert paced the Owls in a losing cause, passing for 379 yards.

With the win, Louisiana ends their regular season with an 8-4 overall mark, and a 6-2 conference record, while FAU fell to 3-9, and 2-6, respectively.

The Cajuns will take on East Carolina in the 2012 R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, scheduled for Saturday, December 22, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
