Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun basketball team improved to 11-4 Monday night, dominating UALR in a nationally televised contest by the score of 69-52.

Four Cajuns reached double figures, led by Justin Miller with 15.

Louisiana jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.

"It something we talked about, we wanted to be aggressive from the start," said head coach Bob Marlin after the win.

Bryce Washington earned his 12th double-double of the season (13 points, 11 rebounds), currently tied for the best of any player D1 basketball.

Frank Bartley added 14 and Jay Wright had 10, with 6 assists and no turnovers.

"He did a great job defensively on Marcus Johnson," Marlin said of Wright's play. "Great effort by Jay."

Louisiana's defense was monstrous, holding Little Rock to a paltry 19-59 from the field, forcing 10 turnovers and swiping 4 steals.

"We challenged our guys to make this best defensive game of the year, and it was," noted Marlin.

Louisiana finishes their Arkansas road trip with a split, going 1-1 after losing a tight one to Arkansas State on Saturday.

The Cajuns now return home for 3 straight, beginning with matchup against ULM this Saturday at the Cajundome. Tip-off is set for 7:15 as part of a women's men's doubleheader. Catch all the action on ESPN1420.
