Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Thursday evening, as coach Bob Marlin's squad travels to Boca Raton, Florida, to take on the FAU Owls, in Sun Belt Conference action.

Louisiana defeated UALR, 79-70, last Saturday, to improve to 6-9 overall, and 2-2 in Sun Belt Conference play, while FAU defeated Hofstra, 61-57, on New Year's night, to improve to 6-8 overall, and 2-2 in league play.

The Cajuns are led by freshman center Shawn Long, who is averaging 16.3 points, and 9.7 rebounds-per-game, while the Owls are paced by senior guard Greg Gantt, who is averaging 22.4 points a contest.

Louisiana leads the all-time series, 4-3, including a 67-55 win last year in Lafayette.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 6 o'clock.
