Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns baseball team had their non-conference game with the Northwestern St. Demons, on Wednesday night in Natchitoches, suspended, with UL leading, 3-0, in the fourth inning.

Outfielder Dex Kjerstad gave Louisiana a 2-0 lead, with a two-out, two-run home run in the third inning, before teammate Tyler Girouard homered in the top half of the fourth inning, increasing the advantage to 3-0.

That's when the rain came, however, and after a two-hour delay, the two teams decided to suspend the game until Wednesday, April 17, when the game will resume at Brown-Stroud Field in Natchitoches, at 6:30 pm.

The Cajuns, who are 22-10 on the season, will return to the diamond on Friday evening, when they travel to Little Rock, Arkansas, to take on the UALR Trojans, in the opening game of a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference series.
