Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Saturday evening, when coach Bob Marlin's squad will be in Troy, Alabama, to take on the Troy, Trojans, in a Sun Belt Conference affair.

Louisiana rolled to a 105-74 win over North Texas on Thursday night in Lafayette, improving them to 8-15 overall, and 4-8 in Sun Belt Conference play, while Troy currently stands at 9-13 overall, and 4-7 in league play.

Freshman center Shawn Long leads the Cajuns in scoring, averaging 16.3 points, to go along with 10.5 rebounds-per-game, while Troy is paced by senior guard Emil Jones, who is averaging 11.0 points a contest.

This will be the first of two games between the two schools this year, with Troy coming to the Cajundome on February 21.

In the only meeting between the two teams last year, the Cajuns defeated the Trojans, 83-78, in Troy.

Tip-off time will be approximately 7:30 pm.
