Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun men’s basketball team is back in action on Wednesday evening, when coach Bob Marlin’s squad plays host to the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs in a non-conference tilt at the Cajundome.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 o’clock, and you can hear all the play-by-play action on ESPN 1420 and espn1420.com, along with Hot 107.9 and 1079ishot.com, beginning with the pregame show at 6:30 pm.

The game is the first game of a three-game home stand for the Cajuns.

Louisiana, who is coming off of an 80-70 setback to the McNesse St. Cowboys on Saturday night in Lake Charles, La., is 3-4 on the young season, while Louisiana Tech, who defeated Jackson St., 65-52, last Saturday, is currently 7-1.

The Cajuns are outscoring by the opposition, 70.3/66.7, while out-shooting foes from the floor, 46.3%/39.4%, and holding down a 37.6/35.6 rebounding edge.

UL is paced by senior forward Brian Williams, who is averaging 13.0 points, to go along with 5.9 rebounds a contest, along with junior forward Shawn Long, who is averaging 11.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per match-up.
