Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Thursday evening, when coach Bob Marlin's squad plays host to the North Texas Mean Green in Sun Belt Conference action at the Cajundome.

Louisiana, who will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak, hasn't played since January 24, when they lost to FIU, 80-75, dropping them to 7-15 overall, and 3-8 in Sun Belt Conference play, while North Texas comes in at 8-14 overall, and 3-8 in league play.

The Cajuns, who are 6-4 at home this season, defeated the Mean Green, 80-76, in the first match-up between the two schools back on December 1 in Denton, Texas.

Freshman center Shawn Long leads Louisiana in scoring, at 16.0 points-per-game, along with 10.4 rebounds, while sophomore forward Tony Mitchell paces North Texas at 14.1 points a contest, along with 8.4 rebounds.

The Cajuns lead the all-time series, 20-15.

Tip-off time is set for 7:05 pm.

You can catch all the play-by-play action on Sports Radio ESPN 1420, and espn1420.com, beginning with the pre-game show at 6:35 pm.
