Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball returns to the diamond on Friday evening, when coach Tony Robichaux's squad travels to Miami, Florida, to take on the FIU Panthers, in the opening game of a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference series.

Louisiana, who has won three-consecutive series, comes into the series at 29-13, overall, and 10-8 in Sun Belt Conference play, while FIU currently stands at 22-17, overall, and 10-8 in league play.

Both teams are tied for fifth place in the Sun Belt Conference standings, but both are only one game behind a trio of teams who are tied for second place, and only two games behind the first-place South Alabama Jaguars.

FIU leads the all-time series, 26-24, and has won the past five season series, winning 2-of-3 each time. The last series win for the Cajuns came back in 2007 in Miami.

The probable pitching match-ups for the three-game series are below:

FRIDAY: UL---RHP Austin Robichaux (6-2, 2.45 ERA.) vs. FIU---LHP Tyler Alexander (3-5, 4.33 ERA.)

SATURDAY: UL---LHP Ryan Wilson (3-2, 3.27 ERA.) vs. FIU---RHP Mike Franco (5-1, 4.32 ERA.)

SUNDAY: UL---LHP Cody Boutte (6-2, 5.09 ERA.) vs. FIU---RHP Alex Seibold (2-2, 4.31 ERA.)

Game times are 5 o'clock on Friday, 3 pm on Saturday afternoon, and 9 o'clock on Sunday morning.
