The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, winners of five straight games, will see if they can extend that streak tonight when they entertain Troy in the next to last home game of the 2013-14 season.  Gametime is set for 7:05pm.

This will be the second meeting of the season between the Cajuns (17-9, 8-5 Sun Belt) and Trojans (9-15, 4-8).  The Cajuns took a 72-59 win, holding the Trojans without a field goal in the final seven minutes.  The Cajuns went on a 13-0 run to break open a tight game down the stretch.  In that contest, Shawn Long led the Cajuns with eighteen points and seven rebounds.  Elfrid Payton added 14 points, six rebounds and eight assists, while Xavian Rimmer made 3-4 from beyond the arc en route to a 13 point performance.

The Trojans were led by Tevin Calhoun with 14 points, while Jeff Mullahey and Kevin Thomas added 13 each.  Thomas also had 13 rebounds in the contest.  The Cajuns held guard Hunter Williams to just five points on 2-9 shooting.

Troy is coming off an 85-81 upset win over league leading Georgia State last Saturday, which snapped the Panthers' 14 game winning streak.

The Cajuns currently hold the number three seed for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament next month in New Orleans.  The top four teams get a bye, with the top two teams earning a double bye to the semifinals.  The Cajuns are one game behind WKU for second place in the standings.

Troy currently sits in eighth position, one game ahead of Texas State and one game behind ULM.  Only the top eight teams qualify for the tournament.

The game can be heard on ESPN1420 and Hot 107.9 beginning at 6:35 this evening.  The broadcast will also be available on espn1420.com, 1079ishot.com or on the radioPup app for iphone and android phone.
