Brian Mills and Hunter Kasuls each had three hits to pace a 14 hit attack as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns stormed past Northwestern State 10-1 Wednesday night at Brown-Stroud Field in Natchitoches.

Brenn Conrad, Steven Sensley and Ishmael Edwards each had a pair of hits for the Cajuns, who stormed out to an 8-1 lead after three innings and never looked back.

Evan Guillory (1-2) pitched the first six innngs for the Cajuns (11-6), allowing five hits and one run.  He walked one and struck out four in his 79 pitch outing. Hogan Harris, Chris Charpentier and Reagan Bazar blanked the Demons (8-8) over the final three innings.

The Cajuns spotted the Demons a 1-0 lead in the first inning as Bret Underwood and David Fry doubled off Guillory in the first.  But the Cajuns roared back against Demons' starter Tim Winders in the second as Kasuls, Mills and Conrad all had RBI singles to give the Cajuns a 3-1 lead.

Louisiana put the game away in the third, scoring five times on six hits.  Nick Thurman knocked in a run with a double and Mills had a two run double in the inning, with a two out error allowing two more runs to score.

The Cajuns added their final runs in the ninth on Derek Herrington's sacrifice fly and Mills' base hit.  Mills four RBI were a career best, while his three hits tied a career high.

The Cajuns now return home for a three game series with Little Rock beginning Friday.
