Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun football team returns to the gridiron on Saturday, as coach Mark Hudspeth's squad travels to Gainesville, Florida, to take on the seventh-ranked Florida Gators, in non-conference action.

Louisiana defeated ULM, 40-24, last Saturday, to move to 5-3 on the season, while Florida got by Missouri, 14-7, to move to 8-1.

The Cajuns are led offensively by sophomore quarterback Terrance Broadway, who has thrown for 1,624 yards and 12 touchdowns, along with 320 rushing yards, while the Gators are paced offensively by senior running back Mike Gillislee, who has amassed 797 rush yards, along with seven scores.

Florida also features one of the top defensive units in the nation, ranking among the top 10 nationally in rushing (10th), pass efficiency (1st), total offense (5th) and scoring defense (4th).

This will be the fifth series meeting for Louisiana against Florida, and first since 1996, with the Gators claiming the first four games.
