Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team is back in action tonight, when coach Tony Robichaux's squad travels to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to take on the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, in the opening game of a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference series.

For Louisiana, it's their first conference road series of the year.

The Cajuns are 17-3 overall, and 3-0 in Sun Belt Conference play, while the Blue Raiders currently stand at 12-10 overall, and 0-3 in league play.

Offensively, Louisiana is currently second in the league is hitting, at a .315, with 18 home runs, while Middle Tennessee is hitting a .276 as a team, which ranks sixth, along with seven homers.

In the pitching department, the Cajuns currently rank third in the Sun Belt Conference, with a 3.52 team ERA, while the Blue Raiders rank sixth, with a 3.94 ERA.

Louisiana leads the all-time series, 34-27, and hold a 25-11 advantage in Sun Belt Conference regular season play, with Middle Tennessee holding a 10-2 edge in the Sun Belt Conference  Tournament.

The Cajuns, who have won 10 of the 12 conference series' between the two schools, are 27-21 against the Blue Raiders under the direction of Robichaux.

Game times for the three-game set are scheduled for 6 o'clock on Friday night, 4 pm on Saturday afternoon, and 1 o'clock for the series finale on Sunday.

FRIDAY---UL- Jr., LHP Ryan Wilson (2-1, 2.00 ERA) vs. MT- Sr., RHP Hunter Adkins (3-2, 3.09 ERA).

SATURDAY---UL- So., RHP Austin Robichaux (3-0, 1.95 ERA) vs. MT- So., LHP Johnathan Frebis (2-2, 3.51 ERA).

SUNDAY---UL- Jr., LHP Cody Boutte (4-0, 4.55 ERA) vs. MT- Jr., LHP Zac Curtis (3-2, 5.92 ERA).
