Cajuns Welcome Trojans

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team retuns to the hardwood on Saturday evening, when coach Bob Marlin's squad plays host to the the UALR Trojans, in Sun Belt Conference action at the Cajundome.

The game will mark the back end of a day/night. women's/men's doubleheader.

Louisiana lost to Arkansas St., 87-70, on Thursday night, dropping them to 5-9 overall, and 1-2 in Sun Belt Conference play, while UALR fell to South Alabama, 77-62, on December 22, to fall to 8-6 overall, and 2-1 in league play.

The Cajuns are led by freshman center Shawn Long, who is averaging 16.7 points, along with 9.5 rebounds-per-game, while the Trojans are paced by freshman guard John Gillon, who is averaging 11.7 points a contest.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 7:15 pm.
