Vanessa Waguespack Anseman can now continue with her campaign.

Anseman, ruled ineligible to run for the Third Circuit Court of Appeal last week by a state district judge, has had that decision reversed, according to our news partners at KATC. At issue was the claim that Anseman did not meet the state Constitution's requirement of 10 years as a practicing attorney. But Third Circuit heard evidence Monday morning that the state Supreme Court had issued a correction regarding her record.

The St. Landry District Attorney's Office, who filed the challenge to her candidacy, conceded and withdrew the challenge.
