BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The sign-up period for the Nov. 6 election runs through Friday. The candidates who have qualified are:
U.S. HOUSE, 1st DISTRICT:
Gary King, R-New Orleans; M.V. “Vinny” Mendoza, D-Ponchatoula; Steve Scalise (incumbent), R-Jefferson; and Arden Wells, I-Ponchatoula.
U.S. HOUSE, 2nd DISTRICT:
Dwayne Bailey, R-Donaldsonville; Gary Landrieu, D-New Orleans; Josue Larose, R-New Orleans; Cedric Richmond (incumbent), D-New Orleans; and Caleb Trotter, Libertarian-New Orleans.
U.S. HOUSE, 3rd DISTRICT:
Bryan Barrilleaux, R-Lake Charles; Charles Boustany Jr. (incumbent), R-Lafayette; Jeff Landry (incumbent), R-New Iberia; Ron Richard, D-Lake Charles; and Jim Stark, Libertarian-Lake Charles.
U.S. HOUSE, 4th DISTRICT:
John Fleming (incumbent), R-Minden; and Randall Lord, Libertarian-Shreveport.
