Candlelight Vigil For Lafayette Victim & Other Domestic Violence Victims

There will be a candlelight vigil this Saturday evening at Parc San Souci for Victoria Neely and other victims of domestic violence.

Lafayette police continue to investigate after the death of the 27-year-old woman and the death of a man they said was a person of interest in the case.

Police responded to the woman's apartment after getting a call about a burglary.  They found she had been shot to death.

Police then went to another home after getting a tip, and they found the man dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
