Former New Orleans congressman Joseph Cao has pumped over $100,000 of his own money into his  candidacy for Louisiana Attorney General this fall. Cao, a Republican, is running against incumbent Buddy Caldwell, who's also with the GOP,  but was a Democrat when elected back in 2007. Cao was unseated in the U.S. House last fall by Cedric Richmond.
