Car Crashes Into Auto Parts Store; Lafayette PD Investigating

Lafayette police are investigating how the driver of a car crashed into an auto parts store at the corner of Ambassador Caffery Parkway and Kaliste Saloom Road.

KATC-TV 3 reported the driver apparently fell asleep at the wheel and then hit two electrical poles before jumping the curb and driving into the store.

No injuries were reported.
