Car Smashes Into Lafayette Retirement Home [PHOTO]

This happened across the street from the radio station.

A car smashed into a Lafayette retirement home, Lady Of The Oaks Retirement Center, early Wednesday morning on Eraste Landry Road. 

While the car narrowly missed a fire hydrant in front of the establishment, it did appear to rupture the sprinkler system for the building.

I did speak to someone at the facility and they tell me none of their tenants were injured in the crash.

We are waiting for more details from Lafayette Police at the moment.
