News partner KATC TV-3 has reported 63-year-old Douglas Phelps was booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center on five counts of aggravated incest.

Vinton Man Sentenced To 34 Years for Sexual Abuse

Calcasieu Parish District Court Judge Guy Bradbury, sentenced Christopher Shane Benoit, of Vinton, to 34 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting three juvenile girls.

KATC reported that Benoit was sentenced to 20 years for one count of aggravated incest and 7 years each for two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile
