Caution Advised While Traveling In St. Mary Parish

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office is advising drivers to proceed with extreme caution is they are traveling this afternoon.

While the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office says they have no reports of any crashes, and they have no road closures.

As freezing temperatures persist and there is water on the roadways, there is potential for freezing on roadways especially on bridges and overpasses.

Civil offices in Morgan City and Franklin are now closed due to the weather conditions.
