Lafayette Police along with the Lafayette Parish School System will be making some changes to the procedures at N.P. Moss Preparatory campus after the alleged rape of a student last week.

Lafayette's assistant superintendent Sandra Billeaudeau says that officers will now be monitoring not only the campus but facilities next to the campus.

Last week, Lafayette Police received a report of a rape of a student taking place at the Domingue Recreation Center which is right next to the N.P. Moss Preparatory campus.

Corporal Paul Mouton with the Lafayette Police Department says that a 16-year-old student is facing one count of aggravated rape while a 13-year-old student is charged with one count of principal to rape.
